Pros and cons of Code Warriors: Hakitzu Battles - learn to code through robot arena combat app for iPhone and iPad
Code Warriors: Hakitzu Battles - learn to code through robot arena combat app good for
The coding is basic. It progresses from buttons that write the code, to you writing the code yourself.
Its probably a tough strategy game to consistently win against a real opponent. Seems chess-like but simpler as all robots have same type of mobility. Less durable robots get slightly more mobility points. Everyone has pretty easy access to all weapons, given that you play through enough single-player challenges to put credits into your account.
It would be better if there were a larger pool of players to battle against. I have only completed one game and have more than 15 open, waiting for a second or third move from my opponents.
This game is just what I was looking for. It combines gaming and learning how to Programm a little.
I love the idea, its addictive! But there should be a way to close existing games since people take forever to move, and it would also cool to be able to practice individually or against the machine.
I cant wait to get more people in!
I love the concept of this app and learning how to code. 2 things I would suggest are....
1. I have an iPod 5g and the app doesnt support the screen size
2. The ability to play against the computer instead of waiting for people to make their moves
This game is pretty great start, with a practice mode, or maybe a challenge series or 2 with unique rewards would add that much more. The only downfall for this game is that right now there arent a whole lot of players... Yet.
Also it would help to have a forfeit option, and maybe a turn length cutoff, so the users arent waiting for days on their opponents.
this is a very goooooooood game but i think that it could be improved a lot.
Some bad moments
The concept of this game is great, but its hard to determine if it works and more importantly, hard to give a fair rating of this game, if nobody plays it. It would be nice if there were the ability to practice against computer opponents, but as it is, my current opponents are not making any moves. I cant even delete current games in progress??
The worst game I have played. The first level is almost impossible
This app provides the best of both worlds: a game and a new skill! I really think the update makes Hakitzu easier to navigate and all the bugs have been fixed. Im excited to be a hacker in no time!
This is not coding. It is selecting actions and letting the game do all the coding. Crashes when I try multiplayer. But fun while it lasted.... Kinda
This is crazy I got the game and I cant even play because it crashes every time I turn in the app! Fix the bug and I will get it. I got so excited for this game and when I downloaded it I couldnt play it cause it crashed! Fix the bug and I will re-download it
I bought this game as soon as it was featured on Code Week. I made quite a bit of progress. Then it was updated. I have restored all purchases but now there are advertisements in the game, and I lost all my progress. Cmon! They did, however, add new, prettier graphics and more gameplay.
